Our Onan generator came with our new RV. Nothing but problems from the start. Had a major failure while under warranty. It was like pulling teeth to get the work completed. There were three obvious mistakes made which I fixed myself. Incompetent staff. The same part failed shortly afterwards however we were out of warranty. $5,000 to repair. We told them to keep it and installed a Lithium. Stay away from Onan and it's repair facilities.

Our RV generator was malfunctioning, it had a 3 year warranty with Cummins Sales and Service (from a different branch). We came to this Charlotte location to get it serviced still under warranty We sat waiting for over 2 hours (which nobody told us how long it would take). This was supposed to be a relatively thorough and longer procedure to repair this, however, they finally took in our RV and looked at it for 5 minutes and told us it was fixed There was absolutely no transparency in any of this: the time to wait, the procedure, the costs. Then after 5 minutes they stuck us with a $500 bill for essentially 0 level of service

What a great experience with my RV generator repair. I called weeks in advanced, scheduled and showed up on day of repair. The customer service was great, staff friendly and repair completed promptly. Offered a lounge , refreshments, coffee and if needed overnight 30 amp service. It is not often you get service with a RV of this quality. Thank you to all who had completed the repair from start to finish.

Set-up an appointment two weeks in advance for our company bucket van. I dropped it off in the AM and expected to hear something from Cummings either that day or the next. After more than a week and several calls from my office to them (mostly with remote workers, not on-site who were not helpful) we were told they were still "trouble-shooting" the issue. It took three weeks to get our van back, we were charged over $2,500 for them troubleshooting for more than 10 hours. Communication was poor at best. Customer service was virtually non-existent. $2,500 for my small business is offensive and ridiculous. I would not recommend nor will I ever go back to Cummings.

Had a very nice service experience fixings my RV generator. Friendly and polite service staff. Location is a little sketchy.
